More than simply an escape prop, Double Axe Escape™ is a complete theatrical illusion engineered for professional performers who demand exceptional reliability, practical operation, and maximum audience impact.
During the performance, the magician is securely restrained inside the apparatus using professional handcuffs, heavy chains, and multiple security locks while two giant battle axes are suspended directly above the performer’s head.
A rope supporting the axes is ignited, creating an intense countdown as the flames slowly burn toward the breaking point. Every passing second increases the suspense as the performer races against time to escape before the weapons are released.
At the climax, the audience witnesses two dramatic danger effects.
First, a massive central mace suddenly drops downward.
Immediately afterward, both giant battle axes appear to crash simultaneously from either side, creating an explosive theatrical finale that delivers an unforgettable audience reaction.
